Investment in Machinery
The preservation of quality begins from the very start of our operations and throughout the entire process. Hence the investment in a highly automated chicken slaughtering plant. As one of the few with such plants in Singapore, we are equipped with advanced machinery at each stage of the slaughtering and further processing system.
Investment in Quality Standards
We adopt internationally recognized quality management measures and manufacturing practices for food processing. Leong Hup Food (Formerly known as KSB Distribution) was awarded the ISO 9001 Certification since 2004 and recently awarded ISO 22000 Certification in 2017, which is a testament to our quality management system meeting the highest standards of quality and safety required from the point of process to the point of sale.
We were also the first chicken slaughterhouse in Singapore to have our food safety system certified under Singapore’s Standards, Productivity, and Innovation Board (SPRING)'s Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) certification scheme for the scope of chicken slaughtering services.
Furthermore, our food safety system routinely undergoes quality and safety audits to ensure to bolster customer confidence in our products.
Investment in Our People
Beyond state-of-the-art equipment, we believe in the importance of investing in our people. As such, our staffs frequently attend training courses to keep them updated on basic food safety procedures and practices.
